I watched teh remake of Vacation on Saturday and I really Really wanted to HATE it (as loved teh original) ... but have to say some bits I was LOL'ing up big time... the carnivore Cow was fucking genius

Far Cough... 10 Rillington is one of my favourite films ever - saw it not long after release and great performances all round ... But spine chilling stuff - Ruchard Attenborough was excellent

I think we may have had this exchange before, but all of the elements you list are what James Bond fans want to see in a JB film. Most (me included), would be mightly disappointed if they suddenly made one that was realistic and representative of what being a real spy might actually be like. I WANT it to be like all the others.

Comfortable familiarity and predictable escapism. All good.
